Alternaleaf and Montu

  1. The Alternaleaf Clinic is owned and operated by Alternaleaf Pty Ltd (Alternaleaf). Alternaleaf is a wholly owned subsidiary of Montu Group Pty Ltd (Montu).
  2. Your access to Alternaleaf’s website, the services offered by the Alternaleaf Clinic, and social community forums (Services) is subject to these Terms. Your access to Montu’s website and any purchase of prescription products from pharmacy partners is subject to these Terms.
  3. Information about how to make a consultation booking at the Clinic, order prescription products from pharmacy partners and access customer support for your order can be found at https://www.alternaleaf.com.au/faq
  4. By using the Services or ordering prescription products, you agree to all the Terms, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms. Depending on what Services you use, or promotions which may apply to consultation bookings, there may be additional terms and conditions, notified to you, which will be in addition to these Terms.
  5. Privacy policy
    Our Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy) sets out how we will collect, use and disclose your information and can be found at https://www.alternaleaf.com.au/privacy 
  6. Promotional Communications
    a. If you have provided us with your phone number, you agree that Alternaleaf and those acting on its behalf may send you text (SMS) messages. Standard text messaging charges applied by your phone carrier will apply to text messages we send. Your agreement to receive promotional texts is not a condition of any purchase or service offered by Alternaleaf. If you change or deactivate the phone number you provided to Alternaleaf, you must update your account information to help prevent us from inadvertently communicating with anyone who acquires your old number. 

    b. You may opt-out of receiving all text messages from Alternaleaf at any time by deleting your account or by replying STOP to any text message from Alternaleaf. You will still receive text messages about consultation appointments you have booked and important messages from the Alternaleaf Clinic. 

    c. You may opt back into receiving promotional text messages from Alternaleaf at any time through your account. 

    d. If you have provided your email address, you agree that we may send you emails about the Services, as well as those associated with Alternaleaf to provide you the Services. You may opt-out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in a promotional email.
  7. User Generated Content
    a. Alternaleaf is not responsible for any content which is posted by others on social media sites, including its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency or quality.

    b. If you are participating in social media forums hosted by Alternaleaf, you agree not to use those forums to collect, upload, transmit, display, or distribute any content that violates any laws or third-party rights including their intellectual property rights; or, is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, invasive of another’s privacy, defamatory, false, or patently offensive.

    Alternaleaf’s fees and charging practices can be found at https://www.alternaleaf.com.au/pricing 
  9. Partner Pharmacy
    We work with a network of partner pharmacies to order and dispense your prescription. You may be contacted directly by Alternaleaf, Montu or the pharmacy to confirm your order, receive information about your product or how to return a product.
  10. Acceptance of Goods
    To ensure your privacy and the safe delivery of your medications, all pharmacy deliveries require a signature upon receipt. In some circumstances we may be able to deliver to a secure lock box that is registered to you, and in the same name as your order. Prescription products cannot be given an authority to leave direction.
  11. Title & Risk
    The sale of your medications occurs upon your order leaving the dispensing pharmacy and the title to your medications passes to you at that time. You are the legal owner of the medications and are responsible for those medications.
  12. Missing orders and product quality issues
    If your order has not been delivered as expected, or there are issues with what has been received, please immediately contact our support team on 1800 864 878. Depending on your concern, we will provide guidance on follow up actions.
  13. Termination
    We may suspend your rights to use the Services at any time if your use of the Services breaches these Terms or other guidelines which have been communicated to you.
  14. Jurisdiction
    This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
